Today was a mess. You all saw it. Kanye went IN on Wiz Khalifa on Twitter. During the online assault, Kanye tweeted that Wiz lost two million followers due to the whole ordeal. We reached out to Twitter to confirm, and found that it isn’t true—Wiz actually gained 61,000 new followers over the past 24 hours. In that same timespan, Kanye gained 172,000 followers. Amber Rose, for her small but important role, gained 45,600 followers.
Twitter also hooked us up with this visualization of mentions on Twitter. Scroll over to see mentions throughout the ordeal. At the peak of the conversation, “Kanye West” was mentioned in 88,000 tweets PER MINUTE. Pretty incredible.
But despite all this attention, none of these tweets were Kanye’s most popular. His most popular (according to retweets) are as follows:
Please: Do everything you possibly can in one lifetime.
