2. Andre Power: 'Getting Lost In Foreign Places' Mix
Whilst most might bring back a tacky trinket or something from duty free back from their holiday, Soulection co-founder Andre Power has brought something a little more exciting by way of a transportative mix, based on his own travels blending business and pleasure.
"Each song in this mix was hand chosen to represent a person, place or feeling I’ve experienced this past year, traveling to different cities around the globe. I want the listener to put themselves in my shoes for 1hour20minutes to experience audio storytelling, from the flights, to the shows, to the days off reflecting on the constant blessings. Press play and get lost with me."
3. DJ 173: "You Remind Me Of Something" / The R.Kelly Mix
If you weren't aware, it was R.Kelly's birthday a couple of days ago. To celebrate, London's DJ 173 has whipped something hot and fresh out the kitchen in the form of a tribute mix featuring music made by one of the biggest names in R&B. If an hour and a half of R. Kelly is your thang, you know what to do.

4. Nicolas Jaar: RA.500 Mix for Resident Advisor
Resident Advisor recently surpassed the remarakble milestone of having curated over five hundred mixes from some of the worlds foremost electronic producers, and true to form felt it right to feature not one but five musical dignitaries (and staff favourites) to herald the next five hundred mixes. Of the five, our personal favourite is this effort from Nicolas Jaar, "recorded in December 2015, in Brooklyn, New York", adding, "ask a friend to translate the Khalife track for you."
5. Loefah: Swamp 81 Podcast for Rinse FM
Racking up track ID requests as ever is Swamp 81 label-boss Loefah, with a load of raw cuts in his latest for Rinse FM; some of which only the man himself is probably privy to. Dub, house, drum & bass, and a few that straddle all three does well in placing this as one of his best sets to date.
6. Diplo: Miami Bass Mix for BBC Radio 1xtra
That dude Diplo recently dropped something to mark his visit to Miami by doing the deed on a mix to shake hips, helping himself to the 'Miami Bass' folder that he likely has in his iTunes library. If he indeed does, it can probably be found between his "Mad ass shit" and "Moombahton marathon" playlists.
2 Live Crew, Quad City DJs, Salt-N-Pepa, and many more feature.
7. DJ Craze: Live @ The Love Below
DMC hall of famer DJ Craze took to the decks at Miami's The Love Below near the end of last year, and more recently made his mix available for your listening pleasure, replete with crowd sounds, delicious mixing, and some minor bass distortion. If nothing else, make sure you catch the real thing the next time Craze rolls through your neighbourhood.
8. Om Unit: 33
If you've ever fiddled around with the functions of a turntable, you'll probably recall a time when you've switched the speed control and proceeded to exclaim, "That doesn't sound too bad, actually."
Continuing that train of thought a few stops, and going via a very healthy collection vinyl, Bristol's Om Unit has taken it upon himself to conduct an experiment into how "a collection of some early spaced out dubstep records, mixed (sometimes badly) at 33" sounds. Wow.
9. Reznik: WatchTheHype Mix 029
A Berlin-based fan of chilled out house, Keinemusik resident Reznik recently shared a really solid mix with the folks at WatchTheHype. Something that won't hurt your head first thing on a Monday (but definitely won't send you to sleep, either), we give this mix two hearty thumbs up.
10. Plastician & Skepta: 'Intensive Snare' 10 Year Anniversary Mix for Rinse FM
"We're just having fun, it's a new year and that.. My album's coming out, I'm quite happy, everything's bless," was how Skepta started the show off 10 years ago when he and Plastician (known then as Plasticman) celebated the release of their "Intensive Snare" collaboration with a two-hour session on Rinse FM, which at that time was still a pirate radio station.
Ten years have passed and the lads are still at it, continuing to serve as proud ambassadors of the London scene. So, for your enjoyment, here is the original broadcast from '06, as well as the above photo of Plastician and Skepta at baggage claim in Tel-Aviv airport.
11. UMA: Mix #208 for Alaplay
With new music on the way over the next few months, the musical duo known as Uma took the time to give anyone interested in said new music a heads up on the palette to expect, and for everyone else just a very good, very varied assortment of music. Opening with orchestral echoes and moving on to a varied selection that's easy on the ears, fans of peculiar/enchanting tracks will be most pleased.
