Back in September, Alex Vargas shared “Giving Up The Ghost” as a preview of what listeners could expect from his forthcoming EP of the same name. Now he makes his return with a new single and a release date.
Vargas display his range of sound with his new single “Shackled Up.” Slowing things down a bit from his last mid-tempo single, “Shackled Up” reveals a much more vulnerable side of Vargas. The production helps set the almost ghostly mood, as the lyrics work to unfold a story about an unhealthy relationship.
Vargas’ Giving Up The Ghost EP is out on January 22 via Copenhagen Records / Locomotion Entertainment. Listen to “Shackled Up” below.
