Watch Madonna Perform "Imagine," "Like A Prayer" At Impromptu Paris Street Concert

The night after the Paris attacks last month, Madonna played a show in Stockholm. During this show she spoke about the incident before performing an incredibly raw version of “Like A Prayer.” Now almost a month later, Madonna once again pays remembrance to the event, this time in the streets of Paris.

The singer, who was in the city for a stop on her Rebel Heart World Tour, took to Paris’ public square for a three song set. There she covered John Lennon’s “Imagine,” as well as her own “Like A Prayer” and “Ghosttown.”

“Everybody knows why we’re here,” Madonna told the crowd. “We just want to sing a few songs about peace, just to spread love and joy, and to pay our honor and respect to the people who died almost four weeks ago. And to spread light, in the place of darkness … we all need it.”
