Watch Slim Jesus Get His Mic Stolen During a Recent Ottawa Show

Slim Jesus caught the attention of a lot of people not too long ago when he released “Drill Time,” an incredibly violent track that sparked a lot of negative interest. The controversial young white rapper sparked outrage and interest for his appearance and lyrical content, among other things. Generally things had been going pretty well for him despite the amount of negative attention he received, and he even got to meet his idol, Chief Keef.

With all the attention he was receiving, it seemed inevitable for him to cash-in on it all somehow, and that he did when he recently embarked on a tour. During the first stop of his Young & Ignorant Tour, Slim ran into a bit of an altercation while performing. Getting interrupted by a DJ named Black Jesus, his mic was stolen out of his hand so the song could be interrupted by the DJ requesting those in the audience to “support real hip-hop.”

It’s unclear how Black Jesus made his way on stage or why he felt the need to stress the importance of “real hip-hop” at a Slim Jesus show of all places, but it makes for an entertaining clip regardless. Slim didn’t put up much of a fight when it came to the microphone, though, and Black Jesus kind of just manifests from the floor around 16 seconds in, making the whole situation feel just a little surreal.
