Last year, the world was first introduced to the then 11-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler in Sia’s video for “Chandelier.” Since then Ziegler has starred in a number of Sia’s music videos, including “Elastic Heart” and “Big Girls Cry.” This week, the duo reunited once again for a live performance of Sia’s latest hit single “Alive.”
Since Sia is still a bit shy about showing her face, it only made sense to invite Ziegler to join her to perform on Ellen. As expected, Ziegler’s captivating dance moves steal the show as Sia sings from behind an oversized black dress pinned to the wall.
