We’ve been hearing a lot about Martin Shkreli recently thanks to his purchase of Wu-Tang Clan’s one-of-a-kind album, which he spent two million dollars on. He’s since been arrested by the FBI for apparent securities fraud, claims which he has denied on his Twitter (before it was hacked, that is). Unfortunately, when Shkreli was arrested by the FBI, they didn’t take the ultra rare, super-expensive Wu-Tang album with him, which means it’s still in his possession.

However, TMZ reports that a source in the U.S. Marshals Office says that the album could very well be a possession of Shkreli’s they’re likely to target. The apparent securities fraud, which totals to $65 million worth, could have been used to purchase the Wu-Tang album. If prosecutors can determine whether he used any of that $65 million to purchase the album and if he gets convicted, U.S. Marshals could seize the album, meaning the U.S. government will be in possession of the world’s most expensive rap album.

RZA said that the album was non-transferable for 88 years, but with all the recent goings on, it’s starting to look like this ridiculous story might just end in a wider release. It’s clear that RZA isn’t all too happy with Shkreli, but what happens next remains to be seen.
