Late last night, Just Blaze simply tweeted that he had just stumbled upon “3 unheard Black Album era Jay x Pharrell demos.” As expected, his followers immediately began pleading for him to share his findings. It seems Just Blaze must have been in the giving mood, because he soon complied with the overwhelming requests.
Some lucky night owls got to hear snippets of a few unreleased Jay Z tracks, as well as various demos from other artists. Jus also shared clips of “I Really Mean It” with the entire Dipset, Kanye West’s “Touch The Sky” with a then unknown Robert Glasper, and much more.
Unfortunately for all the early resters, the majority of the videos have since been taken down from Twitter and Instagram. The last remaining video features audio of an alternate version of Jay Z’s “Early This Morning” Let’s just hope that someone somewhere was able to save some of the footage before they all vanished.
