Courtney Love took some time from her Christmas festivities to remember her deceased husband Kurt Cobain in a touching Instagram post. The photo of the couple with their daughter Frances Bean Cobain dressed in a Santa suit is accompanied by a letter in which Love says the moment captured in the photo is one of the happiest of her life.
“Merry Christmas Kurt, the greatest true love I’ve ever experienced in my life,” Love wrote. “You gave me the gift that makes life worth living, our incredibly talented, loving, beautiful and gifted daughter Frances Bean Cobain.”
