Bishat is an emerging singer out of Sweden. She’s gearing up to officially release her debut single “Sober” at the beginning of the new year, but before then she’s released a track as a preview of her abilities.
Instead of doing an ordinary cover, Bishat mashes up The Weeknd’s “Often,” Lykke Li’s “No rest for the Wicked,” and Daniel Johnston’s “Some Things Last a Long Time.” The smooth track, simple titled “Some Things,” features production from both Bishat herself and Swedish producer Tamokillme. The steady, mid-tempo rhythm gives way for Bishat’s soft vocals to take centerstage—and the results are worth a listen.
Listen to “Some Things” below.
Bishat’s creative new track has been steadily gaining popularity since its release and has already received support from Shura.
