Best Free Downloads of the Week

Every Sunday we collect the best free music we can find and put it all in one place. If you fell behind or just feel like building up your iTunes, we've got you covered. Here are the week's best free downloads, in no particular order.

1.

2. Justin Bieber ft. Kranium - "Sorry" (REFIX)

Queens-based dancehall artist Kranium's popularity continues to grow off the success of 2014's hit "Nobody Has To Know," as well as his latest release Rumors. This time, Kranium extends his audience by doing a "refix" of Justin Bieber's current hit single "Sorry." The production already features a sound familiar to dancehall and reggaeton, so Kranium seems right at home.

3. RWDL - "LA'HEAT"

It's been said that sometimes it takes leaving home to actually appreciate where you came from. Singer/rapper/producer RWDL seems to be able to relate. His latest single "LA'HEAT" is an ode to his home, California, that was made after realizing how much he missed and appreciated his city.

4. P Reign ft. T.I. & Young Thug - "Dipped In Gold"

Toronto's P Reign released his Off The Books mixtape earlier this week and it's stacked. The tape's lead single "Dipped In Gold" features T.I. with Young Thug on the hook. The bass-heavy production booms as P Reign and T.I. take turns delivering their own verses. Young Thug blesses the track with yet another hook that is too catchy to resist.

5. Frank Leone - "Supertramp USA"

Back in October, Frank Leone shared a remix of Tyler, the Creator's "Treehome95." Now he returns with what he refers to as the sequel, "Supertramp USA." The nearly five minute track is attention-grabbing from the start, but it's the breakdown towards the two minute mark that will really spark some intrigue.

7. Vox - "Get Down"

We last heard from L.A.-based vox on a collaboration with Dylan Brady called "Your Vice,"and now she's back with "Get Down." Produced by Josiah Kosier, the song explores the push and pull of a negative relationship in a soft and seductive manner.

8. Monte Booker ft. Smino - "Red Velvet"

Chicago natives, producer Monte Booker and rapper Smino have proven to be a great duo. Booker recently shared "Red Velvet," another collaboration from the two. According to the SoundCloud description the track is an "old jam from last Valentine's Day," but this bouncy track sounds great, no matter the time of year.

9. Kareful - "In The Dark"

For all its changes and their accompanying annoyances, SoundCloud still comes up trumps sometimes, helping you discover awesome new music just by hitting play on a song you already know. This track by Kareful came on via autoplay and it's fantastic. It may not be new, but it's totally essential, ominous but beautiful melodies mixed with mournful vocal samples.

10. Jeff Chery - "Power"

"My music is sort of an oxymoron—basically my lane of music is about not having a lane. Hope this makes sense but I’ve found a balance where I can do as I want, express myself and be understood without being boxed in. I love pop, trap, African music, Kompa, a lot of dancehall, hip-hop and R&B. I enjoy all music therefore I’m not afraid to take risks other artists are too afraid to attempt." - Jeff Chery

Ever since GoldLink released his single "Dance On Me" back in June, the following months have given us an ample amount of remixes and edits of the track. The latest comes from French producer Phazz. The once uptempo track is slowed down and expanded, making the result sound a bit more sensual than the original.

12. Ishmael Raps - "Day Ones"

20-year-old Ishmael Raps, from Rochester, NY, puts on for his city and his friends who have been down since day one. A hypnotic beat and low-key catchy hook make this well worth the download. Grab it here.
