Best Free Downloads of the Week

Every Sunday we collect the best free music we can find and put it all in one place. If you fell behind or just feel like building up your iTunes, we've got you covered. Here are the week's best free downloads, in no particular order.

1.

2. YG ft. Nipsey Hussle & 50 Cent - "I Wanna Benz"

YG had a great year in 2015, which saw the release of his debut album My Krazy Life. It set fans fiending for the follow up, Still Krazy.

Thankfully it looks like we're getting closer to the release, as YG has started to share new music. If his latest, "I Wanna Benz" featuring Nipsey Hussle and 50 Cent, is a preview of what's to come, Still Krazy will be worth the wait.

3. Paige Joiner - "Heartbeat"

Earlier this week Virgina rapper DP introduced us to the newest member of his Brain Dead Music collective, 17-year-old Paige Joiner.  Joiner shared her debut single "Heartbeat," a slow building R&B track that puts her delicate vocals at the forefront. This sweet single is a preview of what listeners can expect from her upcoming EP.

4. Trouble - "Back After Back"

Trouble has been gearing up for the release of his upcoming project Skoobzilla, and this week he finally shared the first single, "Back After Back." The track opens up with some booming production, and Trouble's laid-back flow creates a balance with the energetic beat that's hard to resist.

5. Tobi Lou - "Game Ova"

In September, Tobi Lou delivered a fun ode to women's backsides with his single "Pretty Please." He returned this week with another song inspired by women, but this time focused on a lost love. Though the subject matter might seem like a bit of a downer, Tobi Lou has a knack for keeping the proceedings lighthearted.

6. Wiz Khalifa ft. Curren$y - "Prequel"

Wiz Khalifa fans have been waiting for him to drop Cabin Fever 3 for a while now, and it finally dropped this week.

The 11-track tape is stacked with features from Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, King Los, and more. Wiz links up with Curren$y for one of the standout tracks, "Prequel." The Sonny Digital-produced track is a hard-hitter that deserves to be listened to with proper speakers to feel the booming production.

7. Sylvan LaCue ft. Linzi Jai - "Caravan 04"

Miami-raised rapper Sylvan LaCue closed out the week with the release of his Evangeline EP. The lead single "Caravan 04" features smooth vocals from Linzi Jai that balance out the high energy being provided by both LaCue and Fortune.

8. Danny Winter - "No Sleep"

Danny Winter is a San Francisco-based rapper, producer, filmmaker, and designer. But we're here for the rap—Danny's single "No Sleep" opens up with some menacing production, which Winter quickly matches with his own strong delivery. The slow build gives Winter the space to command attention, and he does just that.

9. StressGods - "December Stress"

NYC duo StressGods have a heavy Auto-Tune sound on their latest single "December Stress" that you'll either love or hate—there's no in-between here. If you give the song a full listen, though, there's no denying the potential. The beat is unconscious, and the harmony of the duo's flow becomes totally addictive by the end of the track.

10. Lil Durk ft. Future & Zona Man - "Mean To Me"

Chicago's own Lil Durk dropped his 300 Days 300 Nights mixtape this week. The 19-track mixtape is filled with bangers, but Durk snuck in a great one right at the end.

Bonus track "Mean To Me" closes out the tape with guest verses from Zona Man and Future—it looks like Durk saved the best for last.

11. Juicy J ft. Wiz Khalifa & Project Pat - "Up"

Both Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa released new mixtapes this week, and they made appearances on each other's tapes.

Juicy's O's To Oscars  tape features numerous club-ready tracks, but "Up" is definitely a standout. The TM88-produced track featuring Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, and Project Pat trading verses over the bouncy rhythm.
