For the latest episode of First We Feast’s series “That’s Odd, Let’s Drink It” host and brewmaster Sam Calagione sits down with Mac Miller to give him a crash course in craft beer. Miller has admitted to usually preferring whiskey over beer, saying that whiskey always “starts intelligent then it ends in, like, sitting-by-yourself depression.”
With Miller’s preference in mind, Calagione made a special brew specifically for him. The 12%-ABV whiskey-infused beer quickly began acting as a truth potion. Miller opened up about growing up, his influences growing up, and his development as an artist.
