Last month, TĀLĀ shared “Wolfpack,” a powerful collaboration with Banks. “Wolfpack” showcased a slightly different side of TĀLĀ with mid-tempo production that felt less intricate than usual. Now she shares yet another new track that returns to her well-known, complicated production.
This new single, “As I am (Oldugum Gibi)” featuring Atiye begins slowly and builds up into her signature sound of multiple contrasting influences blending into one. The majority of her songs always feature fast-paced production that can feel extremely busy, but electrifying. “As I Am (Oldugum Gibi)” is an example of just that. Even with various elements of sound traveling through earphones in multiple directions, TĀLĀ continues to hold full attention at centerstage.
