Pianist Plays John Lennon's "Imagine" Outside the Bataclan

Yesterday a series of tragic and unfortunate attacks took place in Paris.  One of the areas that were hit was the Bataclan, a concert hall where Eagles of Death Metal were going to play a show. The attacks killed over 100 people inside the venue and hostages were being held.

The Guardian has shared a video of an unnamed pianist performing John Lennon’s “Imagine” outside the concert hall on a grand piano while people pay their respects the morning after the attacks. One of the key lyrics John sang in the song is “And no religion, too,” which is an “especially salient one given that religious extremist group ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks,” Billboard points out.
