Snoop Dogg has maintained an image as somewhat of a “master of marijuana” to put it in his own words, to the point in which he’s arguably the biggest advocate for the legalisation of weed in the world. Now, Snoop is taking his love for the leaf to its logical extreme: he’s launching his own line of marijuana-based products. Titled Leafs by Snoop, the upcoming line was revealed at a press event in Colorado yesterday (November 10).
Thanks to some huge steps in marijuana legalisation across the US in the past two years, Snoop’s newest business venture will be launching in a small number of Colorado retailers soon. Billboard reports Snoop proudly claimed that “Leafs By Snoop is truly the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world and proud to be a pioneer.” The line will be launching with eight different strains, as well of a number of edible products including chocolate, fruit gummies, and even peanut butter chocolate gems
Speaking about the line of products, Snoop said that “people can trust that I picked out the finest, freshest products in the game. Let’s medicate, elevate and put it in the air!” All of the products will be sold in childproof packaging, and will only be sold to customers over the age of 21.
