The jangly garage-pop of Spanish four-piece Hinds has been impressing us for a while now, and their latest, “San Diego,” is just as good as their pedigree would imply. Taking their knack for bouncy and catchy rock songs that linger on the lighter, more joyous side of the spectrum, “San Diego” is one of the best examples of Hinds’ respective talents yet. Hinds’ forthcoming debut album, Leave Me Alone, is due for release January 8 next year via Mom + Pop/Lucky Number.
