Throughout 2014, Australian trio Movement wowed us with their silky smooth sounds, a dynamic blend of rock, R&B, pop, and electronic influences, but so far this year they have been very quiet. That changes today with the release of “Lace,” apparently a demo, but sounding very much like a well-refined, finished product. Movement shared the track with the following message:

here is a demo of one of the songs we have been working on for our first record. as it has been well over a year, we wanted to share this with you. not long now.

Starting slow and building beautifully, with airy, effect-drenched vocals, this is a reminder of everything we fell in love with when we first heard “Us” back in 2013. Listen to and download “Lace” below, and remind yourself of Movement’s stunning self-titled EP from last year here.
