Adele’s newest album, 25, came out yesterday and to celebrate the BBC aired a music special featuring Adele joining a group of Adele impersonators. She puts on a fake nose and chin and wears gloves to cover up her tattoos. The new Adele also goes by Jenny for her audition and starts talking to the group of impersonators. One exclaims she can’t wait for 25 to which the real Adele responds, “She’s taking her time.” Another impersonator chimes in “I’d like to see you say that to her face.”
When “Jenny” takes the stage she becomes too nervous and has to start over. Once she begins singing it becomes apparent to the other girls who Jenny really is. Watch the full video above.
