Young Chop Calls Out Kanye West, Claims he Uses New Artists and Then Doesn't Call Them Back

The "Don't Like" producer says Kanye uses artists to write songs and share their knowledge, and then he cuts them off.

Over the years, Kanye West has earned a reputation for his collaborative process. He’s worked with rising artists like Travi$ Scott, Allan Kingdom, Vic Mensa, and countless other singers, rappers, and producers on the cusp of breakthrough success. To most, it seems like an obvious win-win situation: Kanye stays plugged in with some of the most exciting new creators, and the lesser known artists gain attention and clout.

Young Chop has a different perspective. He’s the Chicago producer behind Chief Keef’s “Don’t Like,” a song Kanye West remixed with Pusha T, Jadakiss, and Big Sean. In a new video, he explains his feelings on the way Kanye works.

He says Kanye will “use you, try to soak up everything n****s know, get you to write songs for him, then don’t call you after that.”
