Last week The Weeknd shared two separate remixes of his single “The Hills” with Nicki Minaj and Eminem. Now The Weeknd returns with visuals for Eminem’s remix. Since, the original song already has a video it seems like he decided to step things up a notch.
For this short remix clip, The Weeknd recruits director Nabil to shoot a virtual reality experience. Using the GoPro’s new spherical virtual reality technology, artists are able to deliver visuals that allows viewers to truly feel apart of the experience. Viewers can change their point-of-view by using the arrow keys, A/S/W/D keys, their mouse or just their finger on the YouTube App. This seems to be Nabil’s new favorite way to shoot music videos, as he recently shot a video with this same technology for Foals’ single “Mountain At My Gates.”
