Sufjan Stevens is no stranger to electronic music. His second album (2001’s Enjoy Your Rabbit) was nothing but electronic instrumentals and Stevens incorporated more electronic textures into his songwriting on 2010’s Age of Adz. Today he has shared a remix of the closing track off his latest album, Carrie & Lowell. The remixed “Blue Bucket of Gold” adds some synths to the song and is a reinterpretation of the track’s live version. It was recorded between his studio in Brooklyn and Portland, Oregon by Stevens’ touring band.
