Our guy Bonkaz headlined No Ceilings London earlier this week (recap coming soon!), and today he’s back with a new track. “You Don’t Know” is a bouncy release with a heavy beat and a sample from Dizzee Rascal’s “Bonkers” (which is not where Bonkaz got his name from).
This song is both an introduction to me and an example of me having fun with the music. A well known sample that coincidentally has my name in it, it was a no-brainer for me.
While the track is definitely a lot of fun, and sure to set clubs off, Bonkaz still takes the time to explain where he comes from and what his influences are. “Grew up on Kano, grew up on Dizzee, More Fire Crew not ‘Pac and Biggie.”
