Sometimes someone makes a track so ridiculous yet so catchy that it simply demands attention, no matter how confusing it can be. There’s something captivating about Aaron Cartier’s insane song “PIANOMAN,” which takes a number of trap clichés and turns them up a notch. With the lack of info and the descriptions on both his released tracks only saying “aaron cartier best rapper,” it would appear that Aaron Cartier is remaining anonymous for the time being.

The beat is absolutely huge, and the lyrics are instantly quotable: “I’M ON MY PHONE / MY PHONE IS DEAD.” It’s hard to avoid repeating the unique way he pronounces the title of the track over and over, lending the otherwise pretty simplistic track an insanely memorable refrain despite the arguably cliché content. It’s pretty crazy stuff, but it’s also pretty goddamn great, too. Listen to “PIANOMAN” below, and the Dylan Brady-produced “BALLIN” below that.

Just for the record, this DEFINITELY isn’t teen pop sensation Aaron Carter.
