Toro y Moi’s fall tour starts today and to celebrate they have shared a video for the track “Half Dome” (ft. Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Ruban Nielson on guitar) off What For, which was released earlier this year on Carpark. The video was shot at Half Dome in Yosemite National Park by photographer and fan R. Adam Prieto. “Half Dome” showcases some great scenic views of the granite dome.
Earlier this year Toro y Moi changed up their evolving sound again and shared a surprise album, Samantha, that is more hip-hop oriented and a drastic departure from the indie rock leanings of What For. The band also recently put out a dreamy cover of Elton John’s “Rocket Man.”
