Often times, a piano ballad is both beautiful and strong enough to gain attention on its own without any added bells and whistles. That certainly stands true in Kyan’s latest video for “Sometimes.” The Georgia Hudson-directed visuals simply show Kyan sitting at white grand piano on a vacant beach, and still manage to feel spellbinding.
On paper, that concept probably wouldn’t have felt like enough to make a great video, but the results prove otherwise. Kyan’s voice is so captivating on “Sometimes” that nothing else is needed to grab the viewers’ attention. Videos, as well as songs, like this don’t come around too often but when they do, they always tend to leave a memorable impression.
“Sometimes” is taken from Kyan’s forthcoming Remote View EP, which is due out on October 9. Watch the video above.
