We’ve been keeping our eye on the mysterious Lund ever since we included him in 5 On It back in March. His slick production and smooth vocals were surprising considering his apparent anonymity, with a low-poly cgi skeleton accompanying each of his releases. There’s not a whole lot of information on him, despite the fact he’s already put out over thirty tracks since first uploading music to SoundCloud in March 2014.
He’s progressed massively since then, and even from “MJ,” which we posted earlier in the year. When I first wrote about Lund, I said that he “isn’t quite ready for the prime-time just yet,” but he certainly sounds like he is with “Chemistry.” Polishing his production and making it even more interesting than it was before, his whole sound has improved leaps and bounds. The instrumental for the track is absolutely gorgeous, and his vocals have us impressed, too.
With how much he’s continued to improve, it has us excited to see where he’ll go from here. “Chemistry” sounds like it could even be a SoundCloud hit if Lund plays his cards right.
