This summer the radio was taken over by “Where Are Ü Now” thanks to Diplo and Skrillex’s collaborative production, and Justin Bieber’s vocals. The song has become an inescapable guilty pleasure at this point. Recently the summer hit was given a unique spin courtesy of Florence + The Machine.

During a recent performance for BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, Florence Welch add new dimensions to “Where Are Ü Now” with her powerhouse vocals. The high-pitched sound effects within the original production are replaced with tranquil live instrumentation. Florence’s voice effortlessly dips between soft and monstrous vocals, when necessary. This version is a much more dramatic and emotional take on the hit single, transforming the song into something almost entirely new.

Listen to the full set below, and the cover at the 23:20 mark.
