4. Kodak Black - "Ran Up a Check"

You may have already noticed: we're obsessed with this song. Kodak Black is from Florida and just turned 18 years old, and he's already one of our favorite rappers under 20. He grew up listening to Lil Boosie and he sounds like he's from another decade, but that hardly matters with songs as good as "Ran Up a Check."

5. George Clanton - "It Makes The Babies Want To Cry"

During the first listen of George Clanton's latest single "It Makes The Babies Want To Cry" it's difficult to decipher whether or not this is a new song or an uncovered gem from decades ago. It's that timeless quality of the song that makes it feel so appealing. It doesn't quite sound like it belongs to a specific era because it blend the old and new together in a seamless effort.

6. Max Fullard ft. D.R.A.M. - "1999"

Fellow Virginia natives Max Fullard, D.R.A.M. and Gabe Niles link up for "1999"—the first single from Fullard's upcoming Nights of The Forth project. Niles handles the beat while Fullard and D.R.A.M. trade verses in between a hook that's bound to stick in memories instantly.

7. Masego & Skater - "Day Party"

As hard as it may seem to face the facts, summer is indeed coming to a close. For many, that means it's time to return to the grind. 11. Kendall Elijah Dynamite - "Movin' Lightspeed"

Kendall Elijah has a new addition to his name, as well as a new EP titled Maple Water. The 6-track EP is an eclectic collection, but the standout is surely "Movin' Lightspeed." 12. Khai - "Do You Go Up"

16. Carly Rae Jepsen - "Run Away With Me (Feral $1 Remix)"

Carly Rae Jepsen has spent the last year redefining the sound that many have come to know her for. "Run Away With Me" stays true the pop lane she's paved for herself, but it feels more like a classic, timeless pop hit rather than her sugary, sweet breakout record. New York-based producer Feral turned the dramatics of the track all the way up and added new depths to the track.
