Little Simz is everywhere at the moment, and for good reason, too. Her debut album, A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons, is due for release next week on September 18, and judging from everything she’s been involved with for the past year it’ll be a release worth paying attention to. Grimy London-based producer Faze Miyake clearly knows how to pick his collaborators, as evidenced by his pairing with Simz.
Faze Miyaki recently announced that his debut album is coming out next month on October 2, and he’s just released the video for the Simz-featuring “The Nest,” which has the producer at his wonky best. Simz brings her a-game too, adapting well to the woozy and cold instrumental, rightfully bragging about her impressive rapping abilities. Directed by Sohrab Golsorkhi-Ainslie, the video is equally as sparse, featuring blurry images of Simz coming in and out the frame.
