Songs about outer space have an unfortunate tendency to sound like they were made there: devoid of oxygen, aimlessly floating around, waiting to bump into something meaningful. But on “Jupiter And Pluto,” British singer Alxndr London sounds grounded, despite reaching towards high and disparate peaks: elements of soul, R&B, garage and even psychedelic rock—that song-closing rapid-fire guitar solo, though—get along famously… as we imagine Jupiter and Pluto might, despite their distance apart.

Alxndr London will be performing his debut gig at Electrowerkz in London on October 26, and tickets are available here.
