Watch Thundercat Perform "Them Changes" On 'Why? With Hannibal Buress'

The Brainfeeder bassist makes his solo return to Hannibal Buress' new show.

With Flying Lotus at the musical helm of Comedy Central’s nascent show, Why? With Hannibal Buress, the appearance of Brainfeeder artists is to be expected. That’s far from unwanted when it results in esteemed bassist Thundercat’s second televised performance on Buress’ stage in a matter of weeks.

The man with a heavy hand in Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly and FlyLo’s You’re Dead! delivered during his solo rendition of the July-released “Them Changes,” a poignant funk record that’s as groovy as it is heartbreaking. He may croon of blood on the floor and tiresome travels, but, even sung live sans background support, how he goes about doing so is unequivocally captivating.
