On September 1, Complex UK will be dropping #GRIMETIMEWARP Vol. 1 on their new SoundCloud page for free download. The awesome project sees 10 up-and-coming MCs paired with 10 classic grime instrumentals, and “was inspired by Skepta lacing Plastician’s ‘Back Then’ instrumental from 2005 and Novelist taking on Jon E Cash’s ’03 production ‘WAR’.”
As we get ready for the full tape to project, today, we’re happy to premiere Jammz‘ entry, where he’s taken on Dot Rotten’s “Bazooka” instrumental from 2005. We were just telling you to look out for Jammz in this weeks London-centric 5 On It, but if you’re still sleeping, here’s another example of his skills on the mic.
