The man that gave us one of last summer’s definitive hits has reportedly announced the release of his next project. Makonnen made an appearance at yesterday’s Billboard Hot 100 Festival, providing fans a 35-minute set that experienced a significant turnout despite Nicki Minaj’s neighboring performance.
According to the magazine from which the concert takes its name, he states his album is set to drop this coming October. The Atlanta artist shared the news at some point during his rundown of songs new and old. Several weeks ago, with a pair of tweets (seen above), Makonnen hinted at unveiling ILoveMakonnen 2 that same month. Just something to keep in mind.
