This week Azealia Banks joined Ezra Koenig on his Beats 1 radio show “Time Crisis” for Apple Music. Banks enters around the 54:00 mark. During the show, Banks introduced Koenig to some of her favorite rock bands while playing alternate versions of classic rock songs on the show. After playing a few songs and discussing current events, they went on to discuss some of the top singles on iTunes this week.

Ezra Koenig plays snippets of the current top five, asking everyone in the studio how they feel about each song. And to Ezra’s surprise, Azealia Banks and company haven’t heard some of the summer’s major hits like The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” and Omi’s “Cheerleader.”

When others in the studio had no idea if The Weeknd was a person or band, Banks had to help Ezra break things down—after admitting that she actually never heard this single either. Their top five discussion is hilarious but also proof that in this day and age where music is so readily accessible, it’s still very difficult to keep up with the vast music world.

The group later got into a heated conversation about Drake’s current hit “Back to Back.” Discussing whether Drake’s “Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?” line is sexist or just a simple jab that was over analyzed and taken out of context.
