Back in July, CHVRCHES finally shared “Leave A Trace,” the first single from their forthcoming sophomore album Every Open Eye. Ahead of the album’s September 25 release, the trio has shared a remix of the single from Four Tet.
In usual Four Tet fashion, the “Leave A Trace” remix is an extended club mix. He expanded the production into a long dance instrumental featuring a few key vocals from the original track. CHVRCHES’ single has all the makings of a great pop song, from its lyrics to the sweet melody. The remix on the other hand, focuses on the chorus and building the hypnotic beat around it.
