It’s no surprise that fans are flocking to see Amy, the documentary based on Amy Winehouse’s life, but the amount of tickets bought have surpassed most people’s expectations. In fact, having grossed £3.44 million (about 5.4 million dollars), the film ranks as the second biggest documentary ever at the UK box office. Amy passes March Of The Penguins (£3.3 million), but comes in behind Fahrenheit 9/11 which grossed £6.5 million.
