Youth Lagoon—the musical project of Trevor Powers—has provided introverted, lost-in-wonderment pop music since his stellar 2011 debut, The Year of Hibernation. Now approaching his third album (and first since 2013), Youth Lagoon seems to be immersing himself in a more somber sound.
Days ago, the ethereal creator made 7″ vinyl copies of the forthcoming album’s first single, “The Knower,” available for purchase at record stores.
