Baton Rouge, Louisiana producer Suicideyear keeps winning with every move he makes, be it remixes, his own productions, or beats for rappers like Rome Fortune. He recently remixed Dark0’s “Abrasion” and now he’s back linking with another UK artist for a vocal version of his 2012 track “Scarr.”
The new version features London MC K9, who dropped one of 2014’s rawest, most honest projects with the Mad In The Cut mixtape (download here). Mad In The Cut has tunes to crush the club sitting alongside more reflective moments (not to mention production from Dark0, MssingNo, Visionist, and Plata), and K9 keeps the levels high in 2015, killing the “Scarr” beat.
