L.A.-based quartet Transviolet’s “Girls Your Age” feels born of Lana Del Rey’s still unfurling legacy, a dark synth-pop ode to living fast and free, avoiding love and the emotions that can simultaneously enrich and trap. Built around smoky vocals and steadily rising production that crescendos as the track comes to a close, “Girls Your Age” sounds like the sort of song that would soundtrack a reboot of Devil Without A Cause.
