Several weeks ago, John Talabot teased a five-minute sample of his “Loud Places” remix on Beats In Space Radio. The abridged version shared on that show—based in New York on WNYU, which Rick Rubin once frequented—precedes what the producer let loose earlier today: a full, seven-minute rework of Jamie xx’s In Colour cut.
Listen to the novel rendition below, where you can also browse a brief gallery of social media posts from Talabot and xx that date back to last year. The remix will appear on a “Loud Places” 12″ via their record label, Young Turks, before September’s end.
