“Higher,” one of the only songs to come from promising singer Kwamie Liv since 2014’s stellar Lost in the Girl EP, received an eye-catching visual treatment. Produced by Marion Dupas, the piece sees Liv narrating the stages of another relationship.
An endless loop of moments between two lovers rolls through the frame. A stacked set of bunk beds shows the progression of their emotions toward each other, with each scene bringing them closer and closer to an unfortunate end. What begins as hopeful romance becomes tearful loneliness.
