ILoveMakonnen and producer Sonny Digital have already made magic before and now they’ve teamed up yet again for Makonnen’s latest single “Leave It There.” Makonnen continues his low-key flow on this track, allowing the beat to really set the tone. Although the beat is layered with quite a few intricate details and sounds, Sonny Digital once again found a way to create another hypnotic beat that isn’t too distracting.
The beat for “Leave It There” doesn’t come off like an instant banger, but with each listen the production seems to get more infectious—making it more lovable. Even though ILoveMakonnen has been really busy touring around the country, he still finds time to deliver another subtle hit.
