A few months ago Elohim released her debut single, “She Talks Too Much,” about, well, girls that talk too much. Now the L.A. artist is sharing her follow-up track, “Xanax.” While her first definitely favored a more playful, immediately catchy sound, this one is a noticeable departure from that. Instead it features waves of airy synths and echoing percussion that slows down the speed and feel of the song. It’s a different approach but one that works just as effectively for the new artist.
