Mikky Ekko - "Pressure Pills"

It was a long time coming for Mikky Ekko and his debut album, but he finally released Time this past January. The under-the-radar effort came about two years after he broke on to the scene with his feature on Rihanna’s smash hit “Stay,” and it took so long because he was taking the time to craft something special rather than just capitalize on his buzz.

With two collaborations on the album alongside Clams Casino, a third comes in the form of the drugged out “Pressure Pills,” which is unlike anything you’ve ever heard from Mikky. Slowed down and singing in a lower tone than we’re used to hearing, the entire song feels like one intoxicated experience and is complete 180 from a single like “Kids.”

It should be noted that this track did not appear on either the physical version or on iTunes, only the Spotify exclusive as a bonus track. Listen to the woozy record above.
