Watch Kendrick Lamar Discuss His Influences, Grime, and "Bad Blood" on BBC Radio 1

It had been three years since Kendrick Lamar visited the U.K. before he appeared on Annie Mac’s radio show this week. While he wasn’t in town to play any shows, Kendrick made a promise to do so on his next trip across the pond.

Lamar goes in depth recalling his career, speaking with Annie about the famous parking lot salvation, how success has changed his visits back to Compton, and his favorite Dr. Dre record (“Lil’ Ghetto Boy”). Annie also plays Kendrick some grime (JME and Giggs’ “Man Don’t Care”).

The two-part interview concludes below. Kendrick’s To Pimp A Butterfly is out now.
