Disclosure have just announced the title and release date for their sophomore album. Caracal, which will feature single “Holding On,” drops September 25—other featured artists include Nao, Lion Babe, and Kwabs. Check out the album trailer above.
What’s a caracal? Howard Lawrence explained in the announcement:
A caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.
To celebrate, Disclosure also announced two U.S. tour dates: the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on September 29 and at Madison Square Garden in NYC on October 24.
