You may want to be careful next time you turn up with your Beats Pill XL. Apple is recalling the wireless speaker because of a potential fire hazard: in rare cases, the battery will overheat.

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been eight speakers thus far deemed to be defective. In one case, a customer suffered burns. It’s lit! According to a press release:

Apple has determined that, in rare cases, the battery in the Beats Pill XL may overheat and pose a fire safety risk.

The speaker retails for $299.95, but if you own one, you can now send it back and get $325 dollars back from Apple in either Apple Store credit or electronic payment. Or just wear thick rubber gloves when the party starts to pop, otherwise:
