It’s been two years since Albert Hammond Jr.’s AHJ EP, and seven long years since his previous studio album ¿Cómo Te Llama?, but Hammond returns with the announcement of his new forthcoming album titled Momentary Masters—which is due out on July 31 via Infectious Music. Albert Hammond Jr. followed up the exciting news with the release his newest single from the album, “Losing Touch.”

In his own words, the new album is “a love letter to my past self.” This new single “Losing Touch” fits right into that theme. Hammond repeats, “It’s not goodbye, I’m just losing touch.” It seems that the long gaps between his previous releases and this have given him time to grow as a person and as well as an artist. Hence, the ability the write love letters to his past self, and start anew.
