The always mysterious Ratatat made a big comeback at this year’s Coachella, not only performing in California, but debuting a new single titled “Cream on Chrome” after a bit of a hiatus. Now only a month later, the group releases a short video for what may be the “Intro” off the upcoming album.
The clip shows Ratatat watering a cactus and peeling an orange in France, and after a short piano riff to start things off, those signature guitars come in and everything in life makes sense again.
If you’re heading out to Governors Ball in New York in two weeks, Ratatat will be performing, so make sure you catch their set while you’re there. The new album drops on XL Recordings later this year.
